Welcome to Triad Semiconductor's IP Catalog. Triad Semiconductor produces a variety of design options that enable engineers to quickly design complex ASIC's – all in a fraction of the time that ordinary ASIC design would take, and at a fraction of the cost.
Two groups of circuit elements exist in the Triad Semiconductor IP Catalog: Non-Configured Resources and Configured Resources. Non-Configured Resources are electronic components at various levels of complexity that must be configured and/or inter-connected to perform a desired function. This flexibility allows designers to use an existing circuit framework to optimize circuit constructs or create new ones according to specific requirements.
Similar to off-the-shelf integrated circuits, Configured Resources are well defined circuits that have been configured and/or interconnected for a given performance specification. Some Configured Resources (VCells and Macro Cells) are soft-configured, defined by via placement and routing. Others (Fixed Tiles) are hard-wired, requiring no configuration or internal routing. Using Configured Resources as circuit building blocks allows designers to create complex systems without the need to focus on low-level circuit aspects.
