VCA-4 – Ultra-Low-Power Array with EEPROM

The VCA-4 platform is optimized for ultra-low-power applications and combines precision analog, digital and non-volatile memory to solve a wide range of portable /battery powered sensor applications.

VCA-4′s digital section contains over 20,582 NAND gate equivalents, 2288 flip-flops, 1216 x 16 bits of SRAM (variable bit partitioning),  4k x 16 bits of EEPROM, and 32 configurable digital I/O pads.

The analog portion of the VCA-4 contains 17 single-ended op amps/OTAs, 4 fully differential op amps, three 8-bit DACs, 3 digital potentiometers, and 2 power-on-reset circuits.  Additional arrays of capacitors, resistors, logic, flip-flops, and switches are available as well.

Typical circuit applications of the VCA-4 include: 16-bit ADCs with embedded micros, custom state machines, data logging and analog filters (switched-capacitor, continuous-time, and digital).
